  • nOURish Bridgeport

    nOURish Bridgeport is a volunteer-driven organization located in Bridgeport, CT bringing hope to their community through direct service and support programs. During our "Month of Love" in February, Christ Church parishioners donate baby supplies and baby food to nOURish Bridgeport. In March, we collect diapers - sizes five and six - for this organization. Please contact the parish office if you would like more information on how to participate in this special outreach program!

  • The Prospect House

    The Prospect House is an emergency shelter available to adults on a daily basis. They provide comprehensive case management services to meet the varied and complex needs of individuals who are homeless.

    During the Christmas season, we have an important outreach program called The Jesse Tree where our parishioners donate new, warm winter clothing to the residents of the Prospect House. We festively wrap the presents and deliver them the week of Christmas in the hopes of spreading some holiday cheer!

  • IRIS

    Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services (IRIS) is a non-profit agency located in New Haven, CT whose mission is to help refugees and other displaced people establish new lives, strengthen hope, and contribute to the vitality of Connecticut’s communities. Christ Church regularly collects new and gently used clothing and household items for this organization. Please contact the parish office if you would like to support this worthwhile and meaningful ministry.

  • McGivney Community Center

    The McGivney Community Center's motto is "Kids at McGivney don't come and go, they come and GROW!" They've been serving Bridgeport's Children Since 1992. Each year our parishioners collect new toys and personal gift items for the McGivney Center Christmas Store. The kids who are members of the Center earn points each year by doing good deeds, getting good grades, etc. and then can "shop" at Christmas time at the Christmas Store for gifts for their family members. We joyfully support this holiday outreach each year!
